- 1. PilotThree years ago, a lethal virus forced humanity into quarantine inside massive "Anthill" complexes-self-contained towers housing over 4000 people with shops, schools, and everything needed to never leave. The story is set in Portland, Oregon. Manfred "Manny" Sharon, a former detective, never officially resigned, but his job lost meaning in the Anthills. No major crimes in three years, birth rate nearly zero. Manny lives in Block A, 43rd floor, rarely leaving his apartment except for cigarettes downstairs. Insomnia haunts him, he chain-smokes through the night. Suddenly, panic erupts. Screams in the hallway. Reluctantly, he peers out. A woman in a mandatory medical mask - Lauren Ebb, wife of the tobacco seller Harry - runs hysterically, begging for help. Two guards arrive. She points to the open apartment next to Manny's. The guards freeze. Manny steps out, masked, and sees a bloody corpse of an elderly man inside.CCAug 11, 2016
- 2. The Beginning Of The EndManny Sharon is a detective for the first time in three years. The murdered man, Fred Lopez, 60, suffocated in his own blood after his throat was cut. He was killed about a week ago, but no one noticed. Manny carefully examined the body, after which he noticed a small piece of paper in Fred's mouth. Manny carefully extracted a small note that read "The beginning of the end." Fred's body was taken through an underground tunnel to the morgue in Block C. Some time later, the call came - two more corpses were found in block B and C.CCAug 18, 2016
- 3. TheoryManny, along with the staff of special services, goes to block B. The body is an elderly woman, killed in the same way as Fred Lopez, but a couple of days earlier. It's the same story in Block C, but with a 40-year-old man who was killed just recently - that night. Manny is in a stupor. All three were killed at different times, Fred had the inscription "The beginning of the end" in his mouth, but he died not the first and not the last, but the second. The next day, a partner, Brian Hart, is sent to Manny, who puts forward his theory: the killer knew that Fred would be the first to be discovered, therefore Lauren Ebb, who discovered him that night, may have something to do with the murder. Manny trusts Brian and his theory, which they plan to test.CCAug 25, 2016
- 4. TwoIn the evening, Manny puts on a medical mask, leaves his apartment and heads to the tobacco shop on the floor below. Harry Ebb, the tobacconist, looked annoyed. Manny asked what happened to him, to which Harry replied that he had had a fight with his wife Lauren. Harry thinks she cheated on him with that murdered man Fred. The next morning, Manny and Brian go to Harry Ebb's apartment and arrest his wife for suspected complicity in the murder of Fred Lopez. During the interrogation, Manny tries to get something out of her, but Lauren doesn't say anything. Manny thinks she's lying convincingly. Then Brian politely asks Manny to come out to talk to her alone. Half an hour later, Brian comes out of the interrogation room and says that they are dealing with two killers.CCSep 1, 2016
- 5. The Jealous DinnerBrian says that he has been working in the police for more than 25 years, and he is sure that Lauren Ebb is not lying. Brian puts forward a new theory: there could be two or more killers. One of them killed a man and a woman in blocks B and C, and the other killed Fred Lopez in Building A. Whoever killed Fred left a note, and he's probably going to kill more. Manny is surprised by this theory, but out of a little jealousy, he emphasizes that Brian's theory may not be guaranteed to be accurate. Brian agrees with Manny. In the evening, Brian invites Manny to his place to get to know each other better, because they seem to have a long time to work together. Over a beer, Brian talks about his ex-wife and the daughter she picked up and left. Manny tries to drink less and doesn't talk much about himself. Manny is afraid that someone will find out that he lives on his late father's money. Many people think that Manny's father Manfred died of the virus, but in fact he asked Manny to poison himCCSep 8, 2016
- 6. Ring and RevengeThe episode begins at the end of the previous episode. Manny says goodbye to Brian and leaves. Brian sits in silence, pours the half-finished beer into the sink and goes to bed. The investigation with Brian turns into a mental rivalry in Manny's head. But, unlike Manny, Brian is not trying to compete with each other, on the contrary, he even wants to help Manny and lead him to the right idea. At night, Manny suffers from insomnia again. He gets a call from a security guard who informs him that Harry Ebb broke into the apartment of the late Fred Lopez. Manny doesn't tell Brian anything, he immediately goes to the police station in Block B. Harry Ebb is in the interrogation room, and when Manny enters, he starts crying. He says he was at Fred's apartment to pick up his ring, which he lost. Harry explains this by saying that a couple of weeks ago he found out about Lauren's betrayal, so he came to him, but lost the ring. Manny calmed Harry down, but explained that he couldn't let him go.CCSep 15, 2016
- 7. Gift for a FriendBrian finds out about Harry Ebb and Manny's silence, but he doesn't get mad, he even understands him, thinking that Manny just wanted to try to do everything himself. Manny takes it as a joke. While Brian interrogates Harry, Manny goes to Block B to learn more about the murdered woman. Many neighbors complain about her, saying that she constantly argued with her husband Edward Rodriguez, who disappeared after her death. Manny realizes that Edward couldn't have gone far, so he sets up a search for him, as well as a curfew. Meanwhile, Brian learns from Harry that Fred has been buying marijuana from Harry’s friend in block B on the 0th floor in the library. In the evening, Manny returns to his apartment. Brian comes to him with a beer, he talks about Harry's interrogation, and also tells Manny that he knows about Edward Rodriguez, because he saw the flyers in block B. Manny also has to talk about today. When Brian leaves, he gives Manny a pack of cigarettes.CCSep 22, 2016

Harry gave them a picture of the marijuana dealer Richard "Little Dickie" Lachowski. Brian quickly identifies the dealer, who already knows Brian, because Brian bought a joint from him yesterday. But this time, Brian arrests Richard on suspicion of murdering Fred Lopez. Before the interrogation, Manny opens a pack of cigarettes, Brian notices that there is no joint with marijuana.
