1. There Will Be BloodThe long running war between the Black Hawkes of the lesser antilles and the Unbound from the greater antilles heats up when the Black Hawkes invade Puerto Rico to gain more land, supplies, and men as the British prepare for all out war against pirates in an attempt to gain control over their land. The Black Hawkes burn down docks to keep people from fleeing, and the Unbound from retaliating. The purge of uncooperative citizens continues but Thomas Navarro, the son of Benjamin, the Black Hawkes captain, is shown despite his elite swordsmanship, being bothered by the killings, but he goes along to please his ruthless father who soon plans to make him captain. The Unbound take the loss, fleeing to the island of Hispaniola to regain their footing after the unexpected attack from the Black Hawkes. British admiral, Cecil Sterling leads the crusade against the 2 largest crews in the Caribbean, using their war to his advantage to get the upper hand against the Black Hawkes in particular.CC58minJul 21, 2016
2. HereditaryBack in the town of Salem, Benjamin hosts a feast at The Harbor (a tavern owned by the Black Hawkes) to celebrate the victory over Puerto Rico. Benjamin tries to cheer up Thomas by reminding him of old stories from his childhood with Thomas' old friend Pierre, who is now the leader of the Unbound, but the stories only seem to make things worse. Benjamin sends Thomas up to give a speech about the victory, power, and the ruthless nature of the Black Hawkes. On the other side of things, Pierre delivers a more motivational speech to the Unbound about their freedom, and their history with the Black Hawkes. A conversation between Pierre and his piers reveals that the Unbound used to be apart of the Black Hawkes, but broke away to pursue a more peaceful approach to the pirate life, sparking the long running war between the two crews. 3. Bilge RatsJosiah and Duncan, two bilge rats from the Unbound are sent on a recon mission to the Island of Montserrat to gather intel and sabotage the Black Hawkes. Will Carrington, a commodore from the same armada as Cecil, makes plans of his own. Thomas joins a small fleet of 3 ships to deliver supplies to Puerto Rico, where the Black Hawkes struggle to keep things under control as Pierre intends to take back the island while the Black Hawkes lack the supplies needed to fight back. Benjamin prepares the ceremony to elect his son as the new captain at his return to Salem.CC46minAug 4, 2016
4. Appointed by SteelBenjamin finishes setup for the ceremony when his wife Maria falls ill. Cecil gets into an argument with with Will who reveals a more sinister, racially motivated reason for his support of the crusade. Josiah and Duncan sing shanties in the night when they come across 3 ships that are unmistakably from the Black Hawkes. They put out the lanterns on their rowboat and silently board one of the ships. While making it down to the lower deck, they find a large gunpowder keg which they begin rolling to the hull, getting spotted in the process leading to a large fight where Duncan is forced to protect Josiah, who is notoriously poor with a sword. With their backs to the wall, Josiah lights the keg, sending everyone, including the Black Hawkes fleeing for safety. The ship blows up in flames and the two retreat back to their rowboat, but Josiah not being able to swim, gets caught. Back in Puerto Rico, the Unbound begin getting the Black Hawkes to surrender as they run out of supplies.CC44minAug 11, 2016
5. Sea SickDuncan tries to put together the remains of his map, while trying to gain his composure over losing Josiah, who back at the wreckage, we see that the fleet they targeted, was none other than Thomas' fleet. Thomas shocked after seeing his old friend, keeps him alive to talk. Cecil and his armada set sail for the Caribbean. As Duncan struggles for food, he sees islands in the distance as night falls, and decides to lay low. Josiah tries to justify his betrayal, but Thomas has heard enough and prepares for Josiah's execution. Pierre has taken back Puerto Rico with as little violence as possible, but with some of the Black Hawkes refusing to give in, against his own judgement, he orders the men to be killed, which causes drama between the Unbound. Benjamin learns that Maria has come down with yellow fever.CC50minAug 18, 2016
6. Take it From MeThe episode starts with flashbacks of Thomas and Pierre playing together as kids, when the two see Pierre's father being executed without reason. On Pierre's 18th birthday, he assassinates Diego Navarro, the old captain of the Black Hawkes to avenge his father, and sails to Puerto Rico with dozens of other members of the Black Hawkes who denounced their allegiances, and started the Unbound as a group to live a more peaceful, free life as pirates. Back in the present, Thomas, and Duncan arrive in Salem, and Thomas prepares for Josiah's assassination. When he learns of his mother's sickness, and goes to see her. Maria's dying words to Thomas were "Don't make the same mistake he did.". Duncan watches as Josiah is about to be killed, Thomas calls it off, leaving the whole town angry, and confused.CC52minAug 25, 2016
7. Until The Tides TurnThomas orders Josiah to be imprisoned and Benjamin calls off the ceremony to mourn the loss of Maria. Thomas gives a speech about loyalty, justice, and respect, to justify his actions, and to commemorate his mothers dying wishes. Duncan blends in, and plans to break out Josiah. Pierre and the Unbound begin preparing for the Black Hawkes eventual return.CC52minSep 1, 2016
8. ConquestDuncan locates Josiah's holding place, and begins scouting out for the perfect time to break him free. With people still questioning Thomas' leadership, and allegiance, Benjamin holds off the ceremony and begins planning the conquest back to Puerto Rico to gain the upper hand once more, and return his men back home. The season ends with the Black Hawkes sailing towards the greater antilles seeking revenge.CC55minSep 8, 2016
