A 1993 unaired animated pilot titled Genesis, produced by Renaissance Atlantic and animated by Fred Wolf Films, adapting Saint Seiya into a Western cartoon. Five martial artists, Zack, Clint, Jake, Max, and Quinn, complete their training and are recruited by Nova, secretly the goddess Athena, to protect Earth from her brother Apollo and his twelve golden warriors. The pilot remained obscure until YouTuber Ray Mona rediscovered and uploaded it in December 2022.
