When car dealer Joe Glauning disappears from a campsite in the border region between the Netherlands and Lower Saxony, he leaves behind not only his identification papers and personal belongings but also traces of blood. It is clearly a crime—and a case for Chief Inspector Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring), who will have to cross the border to solve it.
