Hiroe lives with her husband, Osamu Saijo—a perfectly ordinary office worker—and their two children, making a family of four. Hiroe had paid over 1 million yen for a contract to distribute catalogues for a brand of luxury lingerie. As she had already worn the lingerie once, and there were no flaws in the agency contract, there was absolutely no chance of getting her money back.
