"Blood, Sweat, and Luxury Problems" is a Dutch television program broadcast by BNN and produced by Endemol Netherlands. In this program, young people travel to developing countries, where they live for a few days alongside local workers and residents. The first season was filmed in Ethiopia and Bangladesh. In 2018, the Belgian television channel Eén aired its own version of this program.

They are literally and figuratively thrown in at the deep end and confronted with the harsh reality of life in the gold mine. Under the extreme conditions under which the local workers also produce this luxury product every day, they work very hard. With the money they earn, they have to survive among the locals. They live and work with the locals. The bewilderment is great when their wages are paid at the end of the day.
