Brigadier Rosa Scheffers suspects that something unusual is afoot, and uses the opportunity to re-establish a special unit: Sergeant Beatrice Mack and Colonel Bas Koorts call themselves the Spreeus. Bas suspects he is not telling them the full story, and a supernatural encounter confirms his suspicions. - 4. Porterstraat Twee (Deel 1)The Spreeus are called in to investigate a fatal accident in the Karoo. They find a broken town, struggling to deal with years of road deaths. But to stop the deaths along the road, they need to dig up the past, and try to heal old wounds.
