It is an island of culture in the middle of cultural aridity. The environment in which they are set, i.e. in the small village of Bátovce, are a kind of probe into the mentality of Slovak people. In the middle of the harsh countryside, they create high and demanding art. Despite bureaucratic struggles, they create in freedom and uncompromising.
