- 8. Botswana - Wildlife In The Okavango-DeltaThe dry savannahs and deserts of the Kalahari cover the largest area of the country in southern Africa. Most visitors are therefore primarily drawn to the water-rich regions of the "Linyanti Reserve" and the "Okavango Delta". Like a Noah's ark, they are shielded living space for a fascinating flora and fauna. The film safari leads from Chobe National Park on the banks of the river of the same name to the "Linyanti Reserve", whose savanna and marshland is served by the "Linyanti". Game drives from the "Duma Tau" lodge bring lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards and the rare wild dogs to a few meters in front of the camera. An air jump leads further into the heart of the "Okavango Delta", a huge infiltration area with its watercourses and lakes.
