Voices of freedom
A school film, awarded at the Villa del Cine Festival and screened in the main square of Villa de Leyva, Colombia. Set three centuries after the conquest of the New World, the film follows groups of Creoles and Raizals as they gather in streets and squares to raise their voices against the abuses of the Spanish Crown. Their voices, echoing throughout the Viceroyalty of New Granada, gradually spark a liberation movement across Latin America.
