An angular, abstract little man, seemingly unfit for swimming, finds himself in the pool. All lanes are occupied by other swimmers. The hero tries to adapt to one swimmer, then to another, floundering in different styles until he realizes that he needs to find his own. The short animated film, made without dialogue or voiceover, speaks to a teenage audience in the universal language of animation. A simple plot, abstract characters and a humorous presentation make it possible to speak easily and without moralizing about such serious topics as finding oneself and adapting to the challenges of the big world.
