70-year-old Larisa and 65-year-old Oleg are lonely members of an amateur "Theater of Honor" for the elderly, where neither is taken seriously. Larisa is denied roles and is made fun of, while Oleg also remains invisible to those around her. At some point, they notice each other, and a romantic connection develops between them, which may be their last attempt to escape their loneliness and feel needed.
