Lone Rocks
"Lone Rocks" explores the lesser-known outdoor bouldering possibilities across the Baltic States (Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania). While indoor climbing gyms have seen explosive popularity in the region, the massive glacial erratic boulders scattered across the natural Baltic landscapes have remained mostly solitary and undocumented. The film interviews local pioneers—including looking back at the 2013/2014 footage of the Lithuanian "The Big Ones" project—and documents attempts to establish lines on unique formations like Latvia’s tallest boulder (Capsadis/Džūkste) and Estonia's giant coastal erratics.
Cast: Artūras Volkovas, Rihards Kārlis Lavčinovskis
