Unfortunately, the Censorship Board has tragically misunderstood its function. The board uses three main weapons with inexplicable cruelty: prohibition—a certain film must not be shown for three or four reasons utterly lacking in reasonable grounds, as in the case of Heroic Pages; the scissors, with which they cut scenes; and the classification system, the criteria for which are unknown. The results are as follows: 90% for men only; 8% for adults and young ladies; and 2% for children.
