For the Dear Leader is a short film based on the Pong Su incident of 2003, where North Koreans attempted to smuggle heroin into Australia from a Cargo ship known as Pong Su.

On a quiet beach just outside the coastal town of Lorne, surfer Craig makes a chilling discovery: a significant stash of heroin and a concealed corpse.
