Um salto alto – a história da arte transformista do Distrito Federal
An unprecedented documentary that recovers the names and memories of artists who built the LGBTQIAPN+ cultural scene in Brazil's capital in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, right up to today's drag queens. The feature film is the result of a year's research by journalist Luís Plasmo, who also plays the drag LuShonda; with a survey of archives preserved by public institutions and personal collections of more than 20 characters from DF, GO, SP, MG, and Europe, bringing stories of resistance and overcoming prejudice, dictatorship, HIV/AIDS and a series of issues at the time to conquer space and pride for today's generations.
