Poets Ma Hua, Ma Yan, and Hu Xudong passed away at a young age, symbolizing the beginning of the decline of poets born in the 1970s. Kun Niao, a poet from the 1980s, leads an unstable life, and neither of his parents attended his wedding. Chen Jiaping plans poetry events for the post-90s young poets, and young poet Zhang Xiaozhen finds this very meaningful. However, when his father comes to Beijing, facing Chen Jiaping's poetry and family life, it is nothing short of a judgment on his existential ethics.
