Louis Gzinterman runs a dry goods store on Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village. He gives food and shelter to homeless, unemployed and transient young men who are "kind of lost." Louis is foster father to "his boys," many of whom now have children of their own and still correspond with their one-time benefactor.
